Spring is Finally Here!!!

Fun times here in Idaho...Last Tuesday was a snow day...our first one of the school year. Crazy Idaho weather. Now it's all sunny and warm and there's lots of yard work to be done.

Here are some highlights from the Carroll home.

For Christmas, Aunt Nadine made us this super cute measuring board to record how much the kids grow. We finally got it up and everyone loves it.

Kaylin is 44 1/4 inches tall.

Spencer is 43 1/2 inches tall. He's very tall for his age. He's as tall as most kindergartners. I don't think he got it from me...

Jeran is 33 inches tall. (We have them put their heels against the wall, but figured we wouldn't make him do it for the picture.)

Umm...Jeran likes to have is hair brushed.

We had a fun Easter weekend, we went to Utah and visited our brothers, Kin and Steve, then went to Mom's Sunday for dinner and games. On Monday, we had our Easter egg hunt inside the house since it started raining.

Here are the kids in their "Easter finery." I made Kaylin's dress and Jeran's white shirt and Spencer and Jeran got to wear hand-me-down vests from Rion. A spiffy looking bunch.

Brushing Jeran's teeth is almost always a trial. Kaylin and Spencer have always been good about letting us brush their teeth. Jeran's making up for their cooperation, with his lack of it.

Our little pianists. We expect great piano duets from these kids, written by their father, of course.

Jeran really enjoyed Ravioli night. Daddy was sweet enough to make dinner; obviously Jeran was a fan. Yes, that is sauce in his hair. Daddy was a real gem and cleaned him up, too.

Jeran's latest thing is to put on Spencer's shoes and tromp around the house in them. It's really cute but makes it hard to find Spencer's shoes when it's time to go out.

The trouble with having a big sister...

Kaylin dressed him up as a fairy. He decided to take advantage of a moment of inattention and play in the sink.
