A New Year

January started off really well at the Carroll house...everyone got sick and, with the exception of Ryan, who was fortunate enough to recover in only a few days, we all stayed sick for two weeks. Thankfully we've all recovered and are doing well. I can hardly wait for Kaylin to start school this fall so we can be exposed to even more illnesses. Besides our bout with various bugs, we started the year off well.

Jeran and Kaylin are great friends. He always gives her a hug in the morning. When she sings songs to him he smiles and coos and she can make him laugh just by looking at him.

Here we are celebrating my birthday. Jeran seems to miss out on a quite a few parties because he likes to sleep so much, not that I'm complaining or anything.
