End of June and the beginning of August

I almost forgot the momentous event of our cat having kittens. For 8 weeks we were the proud owners of 5 cats. Thankfully, we were able to give all the kittens away to good homes, and are once again the owners of only 2 cats.

This is the picture we used when we were giving them away.

In August, we drove up to Washington for Steve and Becky's reception. It was a very long trip with three small children in the van, but we made it there safely and had a lot of fun, it was our vacation for the year.

We were leaving two days before Spencer's birthday, so we celebrated it with Granna and Grampa by going to a 50's diner for dinner one evening.

Jeran loved the music, he bounced and grinned the entire time.

For Spencer's birthday, we used the tray of cupcakes we brought home from the reception. I don't think anyone minded it a bit.
